Rapidly pushed the mini back into the garage before the hail got to her.., then went back inside. Three minutes later and OH crap The Range Rover. Put that around the back under the verandah. :)

Couple of hail damaged Kitties though however they are on the mend and not so much soggy moggies anymore.

Garage was awash with water since the level outside the doors was 4" deep. Those plastic seals on roller door account for squat!! Good time to spray paint though, the dust on the floor is nonexistant..

Regreased the rear wheel bearings, again. A couple of long freeway runs has one or the other side starting to groan at around 80 km/h, although by the time I get to 100 I can't hear it

These tapered bearings (not Timken) are only about 6 months old, so something ain't quite right here somewhere...

finding that a lot - the proload on them is wrong, either too tight (needs a shim) or too loose (needs machining down)

The genuine Timkens now (in the Unipart kit) have 1/2 a `spacer' thickness on each bearing cone, and no separate spacer.
I hope they are right (well, they ARE Timkens), as being HARD, you can't machine them like you can the old spacers. Would need to be surface ground if wrong.

Soaked me and the gearbox in diesel. Still isn't 100% clean...  Well - it's clean enough for a rebuild so I leave it as it is. :)

Got my offset cam key selection in from Minispares.
£5 each and I have 2,4,6,8 &9° offset ones.

Now I can finish fitting the Triger belt drive kit to the stroker. :P

More like what I've done in the past three days. Put the reconditioned steering rack in 'Project S', then the rear and front subframes, added all the suspension bits (hydrolastic), connected up all the hydro hoses and rear brake lines, installed some shock absorber mounts in the front and put some shockies in (upper control arms modded to take the 9/16" larger bolt). Re-arranged the rolling support for the the shell on account of the subframes being installed. Spent the afternoon constructing a suspension pump. Next task will be to update the project with some pictures in the "Members Mini Gallery".
