Does anyone know the year when roundnose tail-lights changed over from three screw (two piece) to two screw (one-piece) lenses?

I bought some lovely units from a guy (sight unseen) who assurred me they were 3 screw, only to find the d!ck was counting the mounting screws on the back, not the ones that affix the lenses

The only good 2 screw lenses are the ones with `Lucas Australia' marked on them. The aftermarket ones fade badly after a year or two.

No, not the Lucas 2 hole ones.
Find some uncracked S/H ones and recolour them. You can get the red and orange dye from AutoRice.

The ones I have have Lucas AL136 on them. Also "Australia" so obviously a part of the "local content" rules way back then.

Car type is YKG2S2 Car no. is 3749 engine no. 9F/Sa/Y/ 47107 so maybe Morris in your esteemed wisdom you can place its date of manufacture.

From what I can find it would have been approximately Dec 67.

At least you can still buy 3 screw ones new from UK.
I do wonder though if they are British Quality, or just far east rubbish.
Anybody bought any lately?

They would be Inno ones then, Clubby shape, to fit your Rover?
I'm talking about Mk1s....

yes, sorry wasn't really reading the rest...They're exactly the same as the BL/Rover ones but with different stamping as in doesn't have the L roundel and the raised (compliance?) text is in a different place - but these are genuine Boxed Rover Parts, just i guess by the end they were made by an italian factory for Rover. But clearly i don't have a clue about mk1 stuff :) :)
