Met Matt for the first time last Friday.

I can tell he's a legend already. I know where my car is going in future for work.

I recommend matt highly also. Having only recently become an avid mini lover, i have found matt very helpful and down to earth. He is always truthful and gives the facts in black and white.

I love the love sharing...

on another note, I want to FORWARD thank the person that helps me to fix my Rover...

Bring it down and let me take a look at it.

If I was closer I would be there like a shot. It sounds like it is something simple but hidden.

I hate this f*&^%$g Rover. If I put it on the back of a trailer and took it to Golburn it would be VERY tempting to just leave it there.....

Ah thanks guys,,, it`s always good to hear all this praise & love :-)

warm fuzzy feeling all over now,,, not only did i have an absolutely wonderful surf today but i get back here, click on & ,,,ah,,, just nice,,,thanks xoxoxo

NG,,, carefull mate,,, i`m quite the homophobe,,,you`re scaring me now :-)

Iwannamini,,, The Rover minis are what actually killed the mini off mate,,, yeah sure, it was inevitable that the mini was going to stop production anyways,,, but the Rover mini was the straw that broke the camels back

they`re shocking in sooo many departments "compared" to the "Real" mini,,, i feel your pain & wish i could help,,,, i have a match & a can of petrol here :-)

hahaha... mate i agree with you on some levels and disagree on others.

This is my second rover. My first was an unmolestered (except for a STUPID huge exhaust which on an auto was just laughable) 998 with air con and an auto box. Was driven very rarely by its previous owner (probably because of the exhaust) and was imported back when the laws were more fogiving on these cars. It ran like a brand new Barina or similarly put together little hatchback and never skipped a beat. Unfortunately due to a slight human error and a lot of misfortune, it went up in flames and is now being 'restored' by someone else.

This Rover I bought without proper investigation. Without realising it was a bitza which (a supposedly professional Mini company in a southern state) put together presumably from parts from all over the place. There have been so many things wrong with it that 1. I am surprised the previous owner even managed to drive it as much as he said he did and 2. It has spent 12 of the last 14 months off the road - many of which at Greigs who has paintstakingly tried to piece her back again in a state worthy of daily driving....

I am sure its issues have a lot to do with its construction and its maintenance moreso than the general Rover assembly line

Ah,,, i feel your pain my friend,,, & yes this is "part" of the reason why i don`t like them so much

Grieg is a good man, he knows what to do & is genuine & very helpful, stick with it mate,,, they are "nice" to drive when they`re right,,, just that "Nice" doesn`t float my boat & i`m not one for that """Great"" English-Japanese thin panels, poorly aligned & rust problems & wobbly , jelly-like front end,,, let alone the poor quality--rushed--thrown together build of them,,, Hmmm funny enough they remind me very much of the P76 in the build quality (or lack thereof)
:-)
