I've been away for a bit over a week's holiday in Perth. Got back just yesterday.

I took the head off the Moke today. Cyl 2+3 were blown to the water jacket at the back of the head. The head has a 8-10 thou depression in the area of the blow. It's got really hot at some stage.

The block is dead flat, which is a relief.

I've dropped the head off at Hoppers Express for a cleanup, pressure test, crack test and a skim.

The bores are absolutely perfect, spotless and measure up at standard size which is pleasing. It should be up and running again soon. :)

Cheers,

Job done, cooling perfectly. Sits between 80 and 90 degrees C with the fan cutting in and out like it should.

Seems to have a little more grunt now too, but that may just be my perception. :)

Cheers,
