Where did you guys get the toothed belt drive? The one from england are really expensive, are there any alternatives?

Mine was on a 1275S motor when I got it- came out of a bent Clubman GT we wrecked. :wink:

<edit> It's the early non-adjustable type- I just use an offset key. Once set it won't need adjusting anyhow, and unlike chains, these belts don't stretch. (The Italian made ones, anyhow...)

OK... I've just ordered 2 Kevlar ones from www.minimania.com in the US (see link in my post above). These belts are made by Gates in the US, and are supposed to be the duck's guts..

US$44 each. Shipping cost etc TBA.

I got these 2 Kevlar belts today, from MiniMania in US. Made in Japan by Powergrip.
Cost me US$100 for the two. :wink:

Shipped from Nevada City, Ca on 28th March, got here on 1st April. Pretty good service I reckon.
