HI all ,
a small update, after 16 long long long weeks i have finally got
my drive shafts

Image

I've also tracked down an inner cv bearing from deecaf on the austarlet
site, i wanted to put the axles in but have been working on bikes all weekend, i will try to get them in this week then the only major thing
left is the exhaust which i should have done in the next couple of weeks
(i hope)

Hey,

Good the see some progress.
What's with the discolouration of the metal?
They didn't do them 16 weeks ago and leave them outside did they?

Awesome, a monumental milestone. I had always thought once I reach that stage the Toyota bits are capable of pushing the mini bits.

Nice work.

i had to get a clutch master cylinder before i could drive it,
which arrived a few days later

SOOO :D :D :D i finally got to drive it (albeit up the driveway)
but it left a nice strapper coming out of the garage

So this long weekend i hope to have everything done so the
engineer can have his second visit and if the passes i just have
to transfer everything into the good shell (cant wait for that)

Thanks MADMORRIE
to quote an old song " i'm so excited and i just cant
hide it " (gee that shows my age) I cant wait to get frank back, hopefully
everythings sweet but i'm fairly confident.

I was thinking of you yesterday as i went to my local mini supplier, he
had a round nose with a B series VTEC in there, it had 6 pot TAROX brake
setup very nice.

Have you got yours sorted yet?

Cheers Hallsey
