That is the early radiator yes, it is the right shape by the tanks.
Count the fins- later rads were 16/inch, but early 850 were less.

Thanks Doc, for confirming that. The tanks are a very early type that do not have any pressings in the sides but I think it has been re-cored at some stage. evendently there were some made like this in UK.
