Sorry guys, my Brick's not cut out for touring; but if you're looking for a nice piece of bitumen I can highly recommend the road from Rawson to Walhalla and back. It was going to be used as a Tarmac rally special stage a few years ago, but the event never made it past the planning stage.

Downgraded ? No - Perhaps a sideways shift  because I still have a soft spot for Mokes

Same venue, same corner, same driver - different car, different century.
Still enjoying the challenge :D

I was talking to another Moke racer the other week (he has the rough Brown Clubbie for sale), He used to race his moke in curcuit racing with David MacKay and others around that vintage, he also has a nice collection of race minis and an ex Peter Manton Mini
He lives in Moe too.

Yes, I knew David had moved up to Moe from Longwarry. He also started the original Minibits business in Westall Rd Clayton/Oakleigh way back in the 70s. I spent a lot of time and money there!
Unfortunately, I don't think his race cars have seen the light of day for many a year.

And I think it will be a while before they do, if ever. Shame
