So i have been thinking on an off for the last few months about selling my
clubby.
If i was to sell it, i would be trying to get around the 7K mark for it.
-Is this asking far too much?
If it is to be sold, i would buy an original 850 from Ivan Glasby that I've had my eye on. My plan would be to keep it original.
So, my dilema is:
Sell the clubby, and buy the 850
or
Keep the clubby and put a much faster engine in it?

Selling the clubby would mean i would buy a not-as-tidy 850, but it would be a roundie which i prefer. I would also have more faith in the car not dying on me and constantly emptying my wallet for repairs (Being owned and maintained by Ivan Glasby {Mini Spares and Repairs})
I would take this road because I prefer roundies, and have faith in the car's health. I've also been told it's almost completely rust free.
What are thoughts on this option?

Keeping the clubby would mean:
-Putting discs on the front
-Getting a 1275 and boring it would to 1330 or 1380
-Throw some damn air con in
-Possibly doing a round nose conversion.
This is obviously the far more expensive option.
There is a certain degree of sentimentality attached to the Clubby, so I'm unsure as to what to do. My main thought is that I don't want to pour a bunch of money (bunch more money) into something I'm not going to be completely happy with, but i also don't want to buy a dud.
Thoughts and input on what i should do is much appreciated.
