heya ppls,

she went over the pits, and the only thing i have to do is fix the batery box. they said a sheet of metal stuck in there will do! im so happy!

here she is before i drove her up

oh yeah, thanks to GORDIE for letting me borrow his wheels! and fixing my brakes.... sorta! lol we gota do the front still!

Only the battery box how good is that.
they didnt say anything about the length of the wires that holf the clips for the bonnet. I got pinned for it once as they catch an arm. Specialy at crossings.

Do you have a battery switch under your bonnet as you have the label under your window.

heya gafmo!

they didnt say anything about the bonnet pins, thankgod!

and yes, i have a battery switch, but its inside the car, in the dash. ill get pics tomorrow. for race meets, ill take out one of the washer jets and have a cable going from there to the battery switch, so its like an external one aswell!

Its always fun to get a car over the pits and have a fun time together. Go for a nice long drive and site to gether thinking of the fun you will share.

And it your birthday in 10 days and Betsy also (rebourn). Kusp of Gemini, mine is also in two weeks today and hopfull I can collect another for my birthday

It was good, because before I took her over the pits, I took her for a long drive to suss out all the bad bits, and fix them, like i had a light problem, no wipers, lost all gears but 4th... the linkage broke going up the mountain! and yeah, but it will be my daily driver, so once the 1275 is in, it should be more reliable. i got the current motor thats in it out of a bush bashed mini clubman for $50!

hehehe.
