As title suggests....

i know that they are available for 998's... or is it just as easy to get a set of 998's and 'lop some off the top'?

Yes he does make +.100" 1098 ones, not sure of his stock levels..
I'd be wary lopping the tops of 998 ones- .148" has to come off, so the ring land land and crown is then thin. And the bottoms MAY hit on the crank unless you relieve them.

Hi
Yes i have .100tho over size for the 1100, you just have to turn down the dizzy shaft to clear the piston, which i do for people that buy the 1100 pistons.
