My car clearly is miles out of allignment, particularly the front which is over 5 degrees off toe out so I'll need to adjust things as best I can at home before I take it to be done properly after registration.

Just wondering if people deviate much from the factory settings (according to my nearest source) of:

Front: 1.6mm toe out, 1-2 degrees positive camber
Rear: 3.2mm toe in, 0.5-2.5 segrees positive camber

I'm sure that was okay back in the sixties but I have 175 wide tyres so I'm thinking I should try and hold the smaller camber numbers or maybe even go a degree or two negative?

I run standard toe settings, 1.5 neg front camber and .5 neg rear camber.

You will need to fit (if not already installed) adjustable lower control arms and adjustable rear camber (and tracking) brackets if you wish to alter your camber settings. The only setting you can change with standard components is the front toe.

I have a fully adjustable rear end, but the front is made of stock components.
I might put an adjustable tie bar in but that would be it, unless it's considered a useless upgrade without adjustable bottom arms?

1.5º negative front and 0.5º negative rear camber is pretty good, probably the limit of what you'd run for the road though.

Adjustable caster bars are an excellent idea, regardless whether you have adjustable lower arms or not. If you've ever put an adjustable item side-by-side with a standard caster bar, you'll notice how flimsy and weak the original is -- they're incredibly easily bent. You're not ever going to bend a (forged) standard lower arm, so an adjustable one is unnecessary unless the subframe is out-of-square or you want to dial in non-standard camber.

My car has fully adjustable front and rear, but not because I want to run wild settings.. I just needed them to get it all close to standard
