I'm assuming you've checked the seal is sitting right.....

are they new seals or second hand?

have you got a close up picture?

because if its not the seal its either you're door is way out or your car is way out :?

Make sure the frame that the rubber pushes on to is straight. Also, you might need to adjust the door latch.

I'd say it's more likely the door is out of whack, look how much it is kicking out at the bottom on your last pic!

Hows the drivers side one?

Maybe try a straight edge against the door to make sure it's not bent?

Do you have a spare door (even rusty) you could try as a comparison?

cheers

Jacob

in that second image it looks like your door is sagging down a fair bit, that could be the cause of your problem.

look at the line running along just under the sill. should be in line with the one on the car.

as for panels, i cant give an informed opinion on which is more likely to be the culprit. so i'll leave it for someone else to answer for you.

Owen mentioned it already but check that the lip the seal pushes onto is straight and hasn't been bent back further into the car.

ummm, the door is being held shut by a clamp on the window surround - the door would actually be twisted at this point....

wait till you put a door handle in it and align the hinges before you put the seals in

Stu,

I can pop around on the weekend to have a look. I am guessing the door does not align on the belt strip because it appears in the photo that it is hitting hard against the "A" pillar?

Is this right?

Regards

Really need to see a pic of the outside of the driver's door, to see how it is lining up. One pic is the inside of the driver's door the other the passenger's, makes it hard to comment on.
