Hey guys, I am slowly starting to think about getting a full rebuild on my 64 mini, the car is currently in Melbourne (but I am in north Brisbane) trying to work out if I should just get link automotive to do it and ship it up or ship it up and get it done up here! Guess what I am asking, is there any GOOD mini places up here?

Cheers

Rohan

Depends which side of town - Ken at Mini Automotive in the west and Matt the Mini Man in the east would be my first and only choices

You could us my guy. As long as you like handing over your car and money and never seeing either again for more than 3.5 years (and counting)...

I'll give you his number if you like.

I have used Ken at Mini Auto for many, many years. He has gone well beyond what is expected as a friend / mini guru for both road and race cars.

Would highly recommend him.

Spoken to Matt a few times he seems to be a good bloke as well that might be worth a try. One day I will get a twinky kit from him for one of my toys
