No the engine is not a GT but an 1100S - Apparently, the GT donor had a cracked block...all I can smell is fish!

I am just going out to sticky tape a GT badge on the back of my Deluxe so I can tell everyone it is a GT.

I agree, sure, it's no GT.
But, for $6K (IF it does have discs), as a Mini with a 1310 it's probably worth that, unless body is a sculpture in bog.

It is not even a Mini S.
It is a poverty Leyland Mini.

The engine is from a Morris 1100 S from about 67.

My deluxe has a GT camshaft too! It was a really tight fit in the 1100 block but after a few hits with the american screwdriver it fitted!

Is that one of those really rare GT's with the S badge on the grill....because that would make it a GTS and we all know what a Monaro GTS is worth and surely this must be rarer! If I hadn't spent all my money on the most original moke in Australia at $25,000, I would buy it from you! :P

It is actually the 021X2S1M0929231 that says it is a Leyland Mini.
The second 021X2S1M0929231 is the one that says it is the stock poverty one.
