why not just sign up at www.theminiforum.co.uk and www.minifinity.com?

they aren't like Ausmini where it takes 4 weeks to get approved. ;)

Is the stick itself a quickchange one or standard ratio?

Yep it's (from users' experience) about half way between the standard and quickchange ratio.
