Location: Sydney - strangely, I am glad of the sight of hills!!
In a dealers showroom was a Bently, 3 Ferraris and a gorgeous black moke. Second time we went past, it looked more like a choke because there was just something odd about it. Will try and get a pic on the way in/out on Sat or Sun.

<edit> added pic from the bus. So there is only one ferrari in the pic, but also a mercedes, maserati and aston next to the moke. I knew there was something odd about it. DPM Motors calls it a Schmitty, and it looks like it is a shorty Moke 8)

cheers
michael

It may have been a Gagiva moke which have 12" wheels and look like they sit up quite high.

this place has 3 mokes http://www.vintage-automobiles.net/stoc ... ente=true#

No it's not a moke, it's a Schmitty 49cc (yes forty-nine) indeed. Or an almost identical looking Schmitt (1000cc). A French realisation of the early '80s looking like a shortened moke but not using moke parts at all.
