Nah Tricky, sell it and give up, too hard too much work. One and two and three and four and...

Also is it primed? I know it seems a bit arse about but have you thought of getting it on the road and then maybe revisit the schmick paintjob. Mine is beige (Sugar Cane) and I have often wanted to spray it but everytime I take it for a drive I cannot imagine having it out of action for 6 months (yes, kids, a naggy wife etc etc).

I think driving it for a while may give you the inspiration to finish it? Plus mate I will always have the wood on you if you dog it...

Cheers

Matt

Hi Matt,

No, I dont want you to have the wood on me!!!

I am going to get it finished, and it is going to be slick.

How that is going to happen still escapes me, but I am working on it.

At the moment, it is in undercoat, doors off, glass out fully stripped ready to paint. I really dont want to double handle everything (install and then strip again) but I have a 2nd wind now so i will see where it takes me.

Thanks for your email good friend!

Cheers,
Tricky

Woo Hoo........... 8)

From the spray painter yesterday:

Sorry mate i have been meaning to email you back for weeks now, ive had a few set backs but im just emailing you to let you know im still as keen as ever to do your mini.
I haven't forgotten about you.

Just wanted to see if you are able to get the paint codes for those colours you wanted...(i gave my paint rep the flick...i sent him the info you sent me...and he said they were non exsisting...lol..he couldnt be bothered trying to find them i reckon).

I thankyou so much for your patients if your still waiting for me to get around to your car. There are alot of people waiting also, not sure if you have read my link but im going to slow down on the amount i take on. (i would preffer to just stick with helping the gemini, datsun and mini owners out as i could get by with just doing those...i was thinking of employing 2 workers but decided not to...alot of untrustworthy people out there and thats the last thing i need).
Since i had the heart attack cars have been taking longer for me to complete so yours will take longer than expected...is that going to be ok?
Not takling months longer mind you....

If you dont want it done or have already found someone else i would totally understand but just to let you know im really looking foward to doing the job.

My wife is actually looking for a mini for herself at the moment, you wouldnt know of anyone selling one cheap? (she tries ebay all the time, there is one bloke with 4 of them near mittagong in n.s.w but looking for something local).

Cheers
Steve

We my friends, are back in business!!!!

Stay tuned,
Tricky

That's great news! I do like that he narrows down the holdens he wants to paint... Gemini's, Datsuns and minis that's fantastic maybe just needs to slip in an escort here and there :D
