Its a g200 Charade Gear selector Check if you can get a new one , I think Toyota look after Daihatsu spares now

thanks heaps for your help with the gear Paul and all the PM's. I asked all shops and searched around, and you can't get them new anymore. So I made my own mount. It holds the gear stick lever much much better now. Newly cut rubber and all :) I was quite happy with myself to actually :) I also made my own bush for the gear stick to lever off, as the old plastic one had wayy to movement and was making gear selecting for the gf a hard task. Everything is all good now tho :) Even better than what was there b4.

hanra, weve got a 2000 model fuel injected, 5 speed, 3 banger Diahatsu in it. Very good economy, and realiabliy i must say!! I can get from brisbane to the gold coast, and back again and down to the coast again on $10 of fuel!!! Bloody awesome :P I've neva actually been able to run out yet, but weve tried hard, but it seems to just keep going and going... we've come close tho,,
