I looked at one in the Maitland area in the early 90's he thrown original seats as they were ripped and replaced with clubby fronts and a recaro trimmed rear he stuffed me around as I had a mk1 project at the time and I told him to stick mini kingdom bought and sold it I remember the handbrake light thou and it also had stainless wheel centre cap he had made up

Thanks but wiring has been lost in accident ,car was rebuilt in 83 from a very sad example of a MK11 (S) ,had been raced at some time ,but had the original motor & gearbox & comp. plate.

low n' blown's Tamarisk Green car was a cop car but never made it to the force as one of the big wigs at BMC hooked it aside for himself.

Cop cars also have lower front seats (by about an inch), rear seat belts, rubber hoses with a plastic "Y" piece in substitute of a pcv valve, 1 1/2 inch SUs, four blade fan and may have some marks on the roof gutters where the roof rack was fitted for the lights etc.
