i know it's not a mini, but it's mini in size and im going crazy after i saw this, and i want everyone to see it!

some guy with too much spare time has made a full ferrari that works, like he made the moulds for an engine and made a 24 valve engine with all working bits, it's an exact replica, but small

http://static.hugi.is/misc/movies/ferrari312.rm

it's a video about 1.1mb in size, u need real player to play it.

ITS CRAZY!!!

 That is absurd!

If he was going to spend that much time and effort - why in hell's did he not go full sized replica?

That is one awsome example of dedication but he's totaly mad. For a slight change in scale he could have been driving it!

After some serious thinking, this is what i've come up with...

It's a bloody brilliant model, second to none. Though wouldn't you just build a full size replica so ya can actually drive it?! Alotta time, effort and money into something that sits in ya lounge room and sounds like a real Ferrari!

Real.com are a bit sneeky - the link to the free player is up in the top right corner out of the way and over shadowed by the buy me version

Hunt it out no need to pay

Do you reckon the guy has a wife & kids?

I built a model steam engine from scratch when I was in high school. Just a simple single power stroke design though, no complicated valve gear and conrod seals. No casting, all hand machined. The lathe was my best friend for a couple hours a week for the best part of year 10.

This guy must have had no life for 15 years.

Falls into the "Full scale model of the great pyramid made from spent match sticks" catagory

Yes - no doubt I'm impressed, but he's still mad.
