"If you build it......They will come"

You wouldn't believe that mini muster is held on a baseball field would you?

Yes, you must come. Be good to have a heap of guys there from ausmini ....and I want to stand around yours and SG's car all day. Fairly confident mine won't be ready by then.

(Cue massive sigh of relief from all others entered formally in Muster) Whatever your choice is Ron, either way if the car can make it up here, it would be a massive thing for the show, to have a Covercar in the grounds.........

Look forward to hearing of your decision Ron......... :D

well........ my car is a 1962 morris mini 850, it is the 51,608th car ever to roll off the line, it has had aussie doors fitted though, i picked it up in a bit of a state 2 years ago for $400 we stripped the car right back to nothing and found all of its rust which was in the passenger floor, the passener sill under the left indicator lense in the boot on the wheel arch and in the drivers door! :? once we got rid of all that, we painted the car in primer and sent it away to gisbourrne for a full respray in volkswagon orange with a black roof. when we bought it it had a mildly tuned 998, but i wasnt sure if it was ok so i bought an 1100 which i detailed and painted black, it has a polished rocker cover and twin 1 1/4 s.u carbies with polished dash pots and origional copper topped dip sticks on the top! after i did that i bought some cosmic alloys for it, which i restored and re painted, after that i rebuilt my brakes, and went and started on the interior, i covered a clubman dash rail in black vinyl with thiker padding underneath which looks cool, then got some wood and built a custom dash with carbon firbre effect covering on it which is also looking rather nice, i recently bought some new carpet and a complete seal set, the wireing is 90% complete and it is going to be on the road by the end of april at the most! your car looks absolutely fantastic, i had a good look at minishow, i was there too, so was the car but it wasnt as finished!!

sg, i think you have given me the motivation, will check out the dates, and speak to my "boss"

I do want to make it clear that I will attend for "show" only, will keep out of the awards

Hard to explain, but that would make me more happy!

Ron.
