I got no hope.... dammit....

So the filter assy sounds like its about 24mm in thickness? Ive got about 16mm to play with around the stub stack...

I also got both shiny parts with my filters. I'll take a photo of my stub stacks when I get home this arvo to show you what they look like.

Umm the way I work it out because you are comparing diameters, the filter thickness is 24mm BUT that is on each side of the filter, so it should be 12mm PER SIDE. 24mm seems too thick for just one edge of the filter.

Ah ok, if you get a chance one day could you please measure just the thickness of the filter itself. 12mm could just clear....

Where did you buy yours from?

I got mine through my local mini guy. I told him I wanted pancake K&N air filters to suit twin HS2's and they are what he gave me.

I'll measure it tonight because my car is still in pieces anyway, so easy access

http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=E-3212

Looks like the numbers on the filters are not the P/N sorry.

This is the entire kit that I got with the shiny bits on it: http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=56-1630

That link also states that the filter I posted the link to is the replacement filter for that kit.

Looks like mine deforms a bit when it doesn't have the chrome surround to sit in, thus why my measurements don't exactly line up.
