i dont know if UPS operate out of the UK, but 2 days from New York to Alice Springs, then 1 day from the depot to my address.

Amazingly quick considering mail from Adelaide via Australia post can take over a week.

UPS was the fastest i've ever had stuff, but not cheap - 2-3 days
DHL was pricey, supposed to be signed for and then they just left it on the front porch, still took 7 days
Royal Mail - under 2kg is cheaper, takes 7-10 days everytime, over 2kg starts to get pricey as it goes via ParcelForce, same timeframe though

Cheapest was sending a big box full of stuff via shipping agent, took 6 weeks by boat!

+1 on UPS. Ordered Wednesday Night, in my hands Friday Morning. I can't even get local stuff that fast. Go figure!

Not cheap though, so get a price first.

Royal Mail has done extremely well for me recently with some smaller stuff. I ordered some carby stuff from Burlen SU on our Thursday afternoon and it was here on our Tuesday morning. Quite amazing I thought.

Regards
Al

DHL is slow from the UK - took me 10days to get my last package but that was mostly because they handed it off to a 3rd party courier 50% owned by them (Couriers Please)

FedEx package sent at the same time came in 3-4days.

UPS is super fast, expensive but last time they even delivered on a weekend 8)

This'll probably get modded, by I see the problem straight away and considering this 'problem' 10 days is very fast.

Took them nearly a month to deliver once a driving distance of 30 minutes, another time a driver took an urgent delivery away with him for the weekend because he couldn't be bothered dropping it on a Friday afternoon, it was needed on the Saturday, but come Monday he got his arse roasted.

UPS? well, glad to hear of others' good experiences, not so good if you live in a regional area (Cairns). Huge bottle neck in Oz, 2 days from UK to Sydney is great, cleared by brokerage in quick time, no fees to pay. Then the wheels fall off, almost 2 days farting about being re-scanned/re-cleared by brokerage before it gets a flight to Cairns. Local agent has had it since Saturday morning and still not delivered  .
