A Grizzly Bear was feeding on berries earlier in the day when we arrived at Tyax.

Mowson's Pond on the way uphill from Carpenter Lake to Tyaughton...beautiful scenery.

Forest fire smoke obscuring the sky over Lac des Roches on the interior plateau. Most of the southern interior was covered by smoke from major fires burning to the north.

Hand hewn cedar logs at Helmcken Falls Lodge, Wells Gray Park - cedar planks were sawn using a small portable mill driven off a 1928 Ford pickup truck when lodge was built after WWII.

hi all. Names Mitch
I currently own a ST205 GT-Four Group A Rallye and a JZX100 Chaser Tourer V.

the gtfour is heavily modified makes 265kw atw (soon to make 300 with new turbo and more boost)

Image

chaser is hardly modified at all (daily) and makes 196kw atw.

Image

Reason im here is im looking for my first car, 1972 leyland mini clubman, me my step dad and my gf's (at the time) dad restored it (rebuilt the 1100cc and box) new interior accent front seats, supra back seat, imprezza carpet, resprayed it tiger mica with silver gt stripes, and modified the bootlid to be completly smooth.

anyway stupid me sold the mini when i was 17 and ive regretted it ever since, if anyone knows of it whereabouts ide love to know.
Ive got a thread going on it and it seems its been bought and sold a few times since i sold it, a 4e-fte has been installed it seems and some 12" wheels and dirty black flares have been put on it too.

Hello, my name is Glen and I live in the Central West of NSW.

My first car was a 1974 Clubman S that was a bit too far gone rust wise. I kept all the good bits, planning to get another shell one day.

One day arrived (over 10 years later) when I was looking at Mini's on ebay a couple of weeks ago. A colleague saw my screen & commented that a mate of his had one in the shed.

I quizzed the owner a couple of days later. The story was that he got the car somewhere between 10 - 15 years ago, used it around his paddocks for a month or two then stripped it down. As the price was right, I bought it sight unseen.

I have since briefly viewed the shell (Morris 850) and brought home a couple of loads of parts, with only the shell, glass, and a few bits and pieces to go once I make some room for it.

Don't know if I will use the Clubman's 1100 as the original 850 (along with a 998 block and complete 1100 motor/box) was part of the deal.

Will add some pictures to the gallery shortly.

Hi all... I'm Niki!! I'm in Earlwood and I'm the proud new owner of my first mini... Buttercup is a 72 leyland mini clubman 1100 (currently running on a 998 tho) I picked up in Canberra. She's an amazing lil mini, did my first mini run to the wollombi pub in her, did over 300km and not a single puff of smoke!! She's my baby and I'm slowly giving her the makeover she deserves!!
