Washed Mokesta for the first time in ages. Then swapped out the coil from a GT40 transformer to a GT40 Oil-filled one. No more misfire!!!

That little car is going to see some action this summer!!

Gave the old girl a birthday. A full detail and polish inside and out. Looks good. All ready for the muster tomorrow morning. Should be a great day.

Spent the entire day cleaning my car up for the Muster. Looking good. Didn't get a chance to take any photo's though

Also installed my new indicator switch that I ordered ages ago and hadn't put in. It's so nice now that the switch has a positive feel!

ALL DAY!!!??? Holy Crap, I spent about 45 minutes and thought I'd gone a little over the top. I hope you win a prize for that sort of effort.

Yep all day. I won a prize last year (I think the judge was sympathetic of daily's) but generally all the other years I attend the muster someone in a recently restored weekend car that got trailered to the muster usually takes the prize categories that I enter in. I'm just there to make a donation to the club

Finally got my Mini started after standing for about 3 years. Its amazing what fresh petrol will do! I've got that Mini bug back again, I keep going into the shed and starting it up just to here what it sounds like. Bring on the day I get to drive it. Just got to give it a tune up, check a couple of other things over and i recon its about there. But with the little amount of time I get to spend on the Mini it will take a while yet. :D

Ow I hear you...
I fitted my Oil Pressure pipe to the Gauge with a Gromet throu the firewall, but the big more was with the wheels. I cleaned "most" of the gutter rash from the out side ends with a file and then sanded. Painted the tube section and inside area with Cold Gal Paint. This is after it s been sand blasted. They will not rust now:wink: and then watched the V8s

Trial fitted one Group 5 flare. Pretty crap quality but do the job and will look okay with some trimming etc.

Fitted a new set of spark plugs and dizzie cap - now it runs on all four cylinders - whoop! - and I can try out the brakes properly. Superb braking power (Metro vented 4 pots & booster) so getting an engineer to certify it should be a breeze.

Also started to dissect the rear side windows (Clubman estate) to get to the rust. I only managed to get the windows and rotten rubber/felt channel out before the baby woke up, but might get some time on it today.
