Has anybody powdercoat Brake and Clutch tin pots?
Did they come out alright?
Also wheres the best place to pick up refurb kits

I bet someone has done it but it is not a good idea. The heat from the oven can warp the cylinder or melt the solder on the tank.

after looking at the pots, condition etc , I may opt for the plastic replacements....The bore looks ok but cant guarantee..I will need a refurb kit.. the outside is crap , end of the day I think new plastic ones may be a tad more reliable

You can buy brand new tin ones if looking for that original look. IMO the plastic ones are better as you can see when they are empty :lol:

You can also have your tin one refurbished. Some brake shops will replate the tin can and fit a stainless sleeve into the bore and then it will look like new.
