Can anyone give me a ball-park figure on what I'd have to pay to have all the seats in a cylinder head cut to suit new guides, as well as getting a 30 degree backcut on all the valves?
Being the insular hermit I am, the Neway hand seat-cutting tools really appeal to me - I like the idea of being able to cut my own valve seats at home, but the cost is up there :
0.281" (9/32")(7.14mm) Neway Tapered Pilot - 140 Series US$27.5 (

Neway Valve Seat Cutter 1-1/8" - 30° x 45° (CU274) US$110

Neway Valve Seat Cutter 1-1/4" - 30° x 45° (CU230) US$110

& that's just for 2 cutters & a pilot, would still need to buy a handle to turn the cutter and that's just the seats!
cheers
Jacob
