Once again maybe a sparky's item to the rescue? These are waterproof and cheap and available in sizes to clear all cables from 10mm to extremely large. Bunnings should have them in the electrical section, or drop into Middendorp Electrical, Ideal Electrical or L&H.

cable glands like these are awesome, as they will tighten down on the hose/wire/cable and stop it from moving in and out of the hole, therefore preventing all of the rubbing and splits caused by the movement.

i bought a whole heap real cheap from Dick Smith a few months ago, apparently DSE are getting out of the techy DIY type stuff and concentrating more on the tvs and generic retail type stuff. Jaycar are a good source for them too. I use the glands for running my homebrew keg lines through the walls of fridges etc...

I think we have a winner! Cheap, simple, removable, replacable, srong, water proof and won't rust.
:D

Thanks Mick!
