Where's the "None" selection? I think most people these days cant even differentiate a classic Mini from a BMW Mini, so now its just another car on the road.

I would have ticked all too, but unfortunately the cops don't always just stop me for a look

Probably around 2.

People often ask questions at the lights, and I occasionally get a thumbs up from a random pedestrian.

Because it's a clubman van, I have been asked what it is a few times. The youth of today...

P platers seem to think it's "f'n sick".

Oh yeah, I forgot to put "none" in... whoops

I was driving out of the highpoint shopping centre car park one night and had a couple ask me to stop so they could take a picture.

The funniest for me was seeing 3 cars consecutively slow for a red light, stop, look at the car, then drive forward.

Actually I had a chick in a done up swift, chat to me while stopped at lights Said she was part of the mini club as a matter of fact... Anyone know someone with the number plate swiftn? lol

I went to supercrap in the red mini a month back for oil. Three people accosted me before I was able to walk in the door. One claimed to have owned Cessnas in WA back in the 60s and had Peter Manton as a pilot. Wtf?

I pulled into the auto parts shop and when I came out there was two guys standing above it saying .. "mm nice looking Cooper S" ..

Shame I don't own a Cooper S but was still nice to have people gorking at it.

Then when I was putting in my dash cards some old lonely bat from across the road came over and started ranting about back in her day. Now normally I wouldn't had minded some random conversation cept for the fact she looked 80 and asked if she could take it for a drive.

I wouldn't expect an Aborigine to be able to differentiate between the two either!

;)

I get kids pointing and smiling at it.. people offering to buy it in carparks etc (when I ask for $10k that shuts them up - one day I will get lucky though!).. and the usual old guys who used to own a cooper S...

The best was two HOT women in their 30s at a Cafe on Elizabeth St waving at us when we pulled up at the lights.. My mate was gobsmacked, we were only about 22 back then! This was in a tatty old Clubman GT!! but god it made an fantastic noise going between the buildings in the CBD.. almost like a Harley!

Oh i get asked phone numbers at the lights a lot too... it must be the car, not me, as it doesn't happen in the nissan!

The people in my home town are used to my minis but since I got the Moke the rubber necking has started again. And the kids love it. :D

Anyone who goes to Hay should be able to tick all boxes, but for an everyday answer i picked 2.
Once in a servo a bloke approached me and asked me how the mini is going, he said it like we were old friends though we had never met 8)

Last weekend I gave the Moke a short test run to Bunnings and back. At the first lights a guy on a Harley pulled up beside me to chat and wanted to buy it.

At the second lights I got a wave and a thumbs-up from a early-20's girl in a riced-up Lancer.

In the bunnings carpark a guy in a tidy TA22 Celica pulled in beside me, had a look and told me it was a "Grouse Car."

On the way home I drove past some kids playing football on the road. One of them yelled out "What the f**k is that? It's soooo cool!".

That's just one journey! Never have I owned a vehicle that so many people love.

(Yes, I had a permit for Sat and Sun Davo! All legal. :) )
