What are you looking at cost wise for a total respray. What work needs to go into it.

If someone who's not mechanically minded is thinking about getting a respray ie: paying someone to remove engine etc from start to finish. If you could post pics / process and roughly how much, I would greatly appreciate it.

I would like to respray my mini and know that I would need to do inside and out since its green and I want to change it to blue but I'm no mechanic and wouldn't be able to take the motor out and rewire it all back up myself.

Pictures of all the different reds would be good!
I'm going with red on one of my beasties, just not 100% sold on which one yet!
Monza red is leading the pack at the moment.
Something nice and deep! :D

Hahahahaha!!!!!!

Ford Monza Red also. As it was used over a period of a few years, the colour does change slightly apparently, according to my Panel Beater? I went with Ford Monza Red from the earlier range.

Mine was done with acrylic a couple of years ago. But it is terrible now - it was badly prepped, and it's bubbled in a lot of places and cracked in others.

Image

I'll be redoing it myself sometime - I have the equipment, but not the time or money. This photo here is very flattering. I was just going to go acrylic, and do the doors, boot and bonnet first to make sure it's all right before moving to the body.

How much does it cost for a 2-pak respray?
