my mechanic set my timing on my engine dead centre before i started my engine with the dizzy in..

I put it in the car & was setting up the mega jolt.

I stuffed my bracket & took it of mucked around but i got distracted & forgot i never bolted it back on.

so i started the car & obviously it wont start with no angle sensor.

so i have hooked the dizzy to the coil & gave power it kicked over as the dizzy was not moved.

I have stuffed my timing right? when it did kicked over it sounded rough as.

i was not game to keep trying, i will call him tomorrow to come check but just so i know, what i have done wrong?

never set the timing before, ill make sure i watch what he does next time.

thanks :)
