"only 7" Cooper or 7.5" Cooper S discs will fit in there with any Mini wheel and give you no grief about dodgy fitting practice & engineering compliance."

Cooper 'S' brakes won't fit under normal Mini steel rims. They only fit under Cooper 'S', Clubman GT or most Mini Mags. The calliper needs a grind to fit under LS offset contessas.

I had 3.5" Mini wheels sitting on the S brakes of the 850, and they spun. Must be a close thing, but who would do it anyway- I mean sheesh- 3.5"??
