another question about quality..

im looking to buy a new front bumper for my Mk V Rover Mini

is there any difference in quality or shape between genuine or repoduction ?

Cheap ones have rough edges, are thin material, and sometimes too big and need cutting from what I've found. Genuines have rounded edges and are harder to dent.

I put el cheapos on my car and they're crap, but I dont care because I'm going to debumper it later.

i had a feeling they were thinner.. i asked that.. but the firm said they wernt much different.. ill be buying a genuine one then,

The ends have rolled edges on the genuines, just like the originals were. Also seem to be a little less twisted as well, and nicer to fit.

The end cut profiles aren't exactly the same as originals, but are pretty close.
