Hey all, Just some things I noticed today

1- The clubby is running lean, now richened :)
2- A internal rattle that disappeared when given a hard rev (oil pressure isssue I imagine)
3- my compression is way out :?

Warm 1-120psi 2-90psi 3-90psi 4-90psi
oiled 1-115psi 2-105psi 3-145psi 4-140psi

WTF with No.1

Then I've got no idea how compression can go down on #1 after adding oil.

OMG our nightmare came true :'(
I took it down to minisport and the guys had a look. Figured out that my compression should be 175 and I have have of that  That and apparently it was blowing a bit of white smoke out the rear on the way down.

So theyre gonna strip her down and see whether it needs rings or bore.

maybe I can use this opportunity to put flat-tops in and a cam :P

rattle probably your timing chain?

a week isnt long enough for a rebuild, but see how ya go.

no such thing as rings only on an a-series as they wear the bores oval, its a rebore or you'll be back again soon enough.

nah the timing chain has always been noisey lol. this aother rattle is like when there is no oil pressure in the big end bearings.
anyway they said theres a very good chance they can get it done. and the worse case scenario can be a good one.. a bigger bore :P
