and show photographs of why the springs cannot fall out when installed correctly.

Not sure this is really needed Jason, not very much thought should show they wont fall out. After all, the springs are simply replacing the rubber cones and the cones don't fall out :?

The springs i used worked perfectly ok with "normal" hilos

thats true. but different brand springs have different specs from what i have been reading, and i understand the Minitastic springs are suggested for use with their hilows. The MST springs may have slightly different measurements to the Minitastic ones.

as a side note although i do currently have hilows, they are pretty rusted and are not very good quality ones. so i chose to buy a new set with the spring conversion kit.

i dont plan on making a whole "how to" article on these conversions but just some basic info and pics to reassure the people who seem to think or have heard thay they fall out.

like you said Steve, they are the same size in length, if not longer slightly, than the rubber cones, so it is the adjustment of the hilow that if set to short (ie ride height to low) then they can possibly fall out.

I don't believe this is even a possibility.

The trailing arm wont go low enough to allow them out unless disconnecting the shock absorber, regardless of the setting of the hilo

Could one of you guys fitting one of these kits make some measurement before you fit them, I am curious.

The Spring, the diameter of the wire, the OD of the Spring and it's free length (height) and post a pic?

Cheers
