I can't seem to see them for sale anywhere new, which i am guessing that means they have not been reproduced. I find this a bit wierd as they are a simple design and would be far easier to make than a alloy slat one.
Is there some reason for this???
Is second hand my only option then?

Just tryong to downgrade my little beast back to its simple beginnings. :D

We were looking for one for my 850 recently, and got a quote to rechrome one we had - ~$300! Luckily it cleaned up good enough without the rechrome. We could've bought a whole new grill for that, although the wrong type.

Is there something stopping getting them remade, or is there just not a big enough market? I thought because the early UK Minis had them too that they would've been remade!

I couldn't find a new one anywhere, ended up having mine rechromed for around $125

sorry - all of mine except for 1 are up in the ceiling, and it's more than a little bit difficult to get to at the moment - the one that's on my shelf is a little bit bent, and someone has painted it black over the chrome

PM flapper
