Hey all
Just wondering if anyone knows of a way of hooking up an electronic speedo in a mini? or of any avalible that suit the cable drive that arent standard? e.g autometer/vdo etc???

I have a setup but its not tested, I know bnicho has a setup running in his mke though.
Both are electronic VDO units.

The speedo itself it easily obtained, nearly any auto store should have something available.

The sensors are the tricky bit. I have a speed sensor from a motorbike that fits the mini speedo cable, but Bnicho reckons they dont work (as mentioned mine us untested).
I believe he has a GM unit modified to do the job. Hopefully he'll find the thread and fill us in a bit more.
