After everyones advice..
I am painting the shell shortly..
Would you advise painting the inside, masking up then painting the outside, or could I just paint the inside and continue on with the outside same day without masking up the inside..

I am painting all one colour acrylic Lacquer

I usually paint the shell in 3 stages.
Paint underneath and lower engine bay
Paint inside and engine bay and inside boot. Could paint inside doors,bonnet and boot at this point.
Paint outside, including doors, boot, bonnet

Are you intending on spaying the floor with sound deadner, I'm interested in knowing what type you use and how you go if you are.

I have already done the underside and inside floor with Ormonoid, including Boot and engine bay.. gave it a coat of Paint Isolator then Primer....

defiately do the outside seperate to the inside.
It will come out a lot cleaner (ie. better finish) that way

Found that picture I was talkin about... I'll try and scan it at work for you tomorrow.... This is basically what it shows you... but instead of a crude finger painting of a box, it has a whole car and all its panels, showing where to start and stop etc...

All good mate.... I am off to the UK this week for a couple of weeks for a game of darts so wont be doing much until I get back.. I know one thing, I have to get some Paint Isolator , seems acrylic Lacquer and Ormonoid dont mix well, ormonoid been on the car 2 months but still bleeds through
