How good would it be to have Group N, Group C, Sports Sedans and MINI Challenge cars, in their own races. Covers the whole 50 years of Minis.

cos they marketed the series wrong and wondered why tv companies didnt want it, and carerra cup will fill the void which was happening anyway

Factory supported one make racing series are just an advertising tool. They only ever last a year or two.

If the class was viable it would stand on its own without the factory support.

Does anyone remember the Renault Newstar series? Or the Laser series, The TR7 Prostar series, etc.

They come and go. In a couple of years there will be another manufacturer doing the same thing to try and sell cars.

I thought you guys owned the cars!? Perhaps not.

The car in the lead (albeit temporarily) is a Collier sponsored and built car, so it is a fair bet it is Bruce Collier himself. No idea who the others are. Given the Daily Telegraph sponsorship, could it be David McKay?

Note the upside down windscreen banner on Bruce's car? Not sure if that is in reference to his rallying, or just so the TV gets it right in the most likely position these cars used to end up in
