I have a 1978 Mini leyland S but can't find any registration history details. Can Anyone help to see if the engine matches the body? The Vin or chassis details are 022x2s2m09/30817 and the engine number is 1010/1849
I called Vic roads but they have no details of it in there registery of either the body or engine number. I just want to know where the previous place of registration was.

my guess would be a Leyland mini Sunshine originally 998 cc but somewhere down the track a 1098 motor has been put in.

Body is a 78 Leyland Mini S. It would have come with a 998cc motor.
Motor is 73/74 and like Poeee said it is an 1100cc out of a Van.

It could only be a Sunshine if there is a factory sunroof fitted. The Sunshine was just a Leyland Mini S with a sunroof.

The mini has no sun roof so it's not a sunshine. It came with Vic plates but they are from a ford. The only thing I could think of is that the car is from interstate. What do you guys think?
