When I bought a Mini from Brickworx it was $550 from Adelaide to Sydney.
That was depot to depot. can't remember the name of the company at the moment. At a guess it would be double that if not a bit more to the gold coast.
Cheers Pete

edit: Here is the company that we used.

CAMPBELLTOWN CITY CAR CARRIERS PTY LTD
8 KALESKI STREET
MOOREBANK
NSW 2170

Phone: (02) 9822 4955

When are you planing on doing this?

I have a few cars to go south to Melbourne from Brissy early next year - could have a cost advantage with loads both ways?

I used Ceva to bring my mini from Sydney to Brissie and it cost about $600. The car drove on but not off. They were a touch annoyed but helped out anyway. It is a tow truck at each end if you dont go to the depot but that was included in the $600.

Ceva will be the cheapest.

But no matter what company you use make sure that you see them do thorough inspection before and after freight. My wife worked for a well known car carrier as a claims assessor, and from the stories that I heard they are all ruthless.
