Hi everyone,

i have been collecting model cars since i was a little boy, and thought you all may like to see my collection.

I only have a few mini models at this stage and will be expanding this part of my collection in comming years.

My collection of models started in the racing category and expanded with a bit of everything. I now have over 200 models in my collection, about a third are in this cabinet i built with my dad.

the smaller models on the bottom shelf are all from the james bond collection.

Do you also collect empty Glenfiddich bottles or do you get so intoxicated looking at the models that you open a new one without finishing the old one? Or.....

Dean Hutton's first car was a Mini.

it wasnt hard to build. i built the frame initially as a bar, but then decided to turn it into a display cabinet/bar. after i built the framework i had a glass company come and measure it up for the glass and mirrors. once it was all cut i glued everything in place.

i still have to finish trimming the front and put a top on it. i was thinking something along the lines of a nice cedar top.

the trophies are all from my karting days. the picture in the centre of the green wall is a shot of me at the gold coast track in its hay day before it was closed/moved.
