Do you have an engine fan as well as the thermo fan? Could the thermo fan actually be restricting airflow?

Hi Hanra,

I only have a thermo fan. the temp drops when it kicks in so I don't think so.. I could be wrong though.

It think it is the correct way around. well It's how it was before the rebuild when it didn't over heat anyway :)

bahahahahaha :D

mark the current position of the distributor and turn it about 1mm clockwise and see if that makes a difference. If the engine sounds funny or rattles, turn it back
