Yes I went to revo racegear and they do have one of each for you to try right in the showroom. There are uber expensive recliners too.

Honestly I think the cobra cubs are very good looking even with the headrest. I liked them alot and did think twice before settling on my lowbacks. In person they look pretty good in black. Only critism I have is that the sides are not as deep and supportive as the classics.

But yeah the lowbacks just look and feel so good 8)

How about this?:

They make a lowback identical to yours, but with headrests stuck on.

The cubs, AFAIK are designed for the larger driver so the side bolsters are not as high to make more room.

The recliners i would go for are these:

the lowback with headrests would be:

The other option is to buy an earlier Mini and then there are no ADR problems.

Somehow having an older car makes everything good in the world.

Hence I don't think I'll ever buy another (toy) car later than 1970...

Does my 77' need to have seats with headrests attached?
Is there a way around it if so?
Is it unadvisable to use lowbacks anyway?
What are the penalties for disregarding ADRs?

No, you asked if it there is a way around it, which will be full of opinion unless you are happy with the correct answer which is 'no', which you don't appear to be happy with.

Then you asked if it is unadvisable to use lowbacks, to which in this case, the answer is 'yes', for the reasons x, y and z provided earlier, which are law, not opinion, and;

The actual penalties for disregarding ADRs, ask at your local police station or roads authority, I'm sure they would be happy to give you their opinion too. ;)

But I think willy said it best:

Law, not opinion.
As per my previous post, which you quoted, i am fine with law, and fact.
Keep your opinion to yourself.

Topic cleaned up. GTM & M1100 please stop with the back and forth squabbling, it really adds nothing to these threads. If you absolutely must squabble, please keep it to PM's rather than in these threads.
