doesn't it suk that you can drive around for years and not get spotted but the moment that you breakdown, the ausmini eyes are watching. bad luck there NG hope all sorted.
noice spotting

is generally the way isan't it..
I felt so bad for not stopping, but I had a VERY IMPATIENT big brother waiting to be picked up on the coast, and was calling me every 5 mins...

if it wasan't for that I would have stopped and helped you to get going again.

(and yes, I had a spare rad in the car would u believe it,
I'm glad you got it sorted mate.. but as nav says I would look at the mixture, that night was dead cold on the highway, something was badly wrong for it to overheat that night.. seems like something was either blocked, ie the rad, or the thermostat was stuck closed, ORR the mixture is not always right at different speeds especially on the highway.. theres a good chance your leaning out on the highway... bwhahah get it,,, "leaning out" ok so i suck at jokes

but hey...
I can almost guarantee that that alloy rad is now blocked, and your block had some crap in it that was dislodged the first time you put it in, and its been bad ever since,, just that night was the trigger,, especially if that's the longest continual run you've done on it for a while, out of town traffic..i bet you $100 that alloy rad is blocked
I'll take it for free and fix it and use in my sedan if you don't want it.
