It didn't need to be locked. There is some very good info in there and some questions to be asked and answered. Maybe some towards the end didn't like some of the answers offered, so maybe clean those up.

Please un-lock it.

I also was enjoying the discussion.....when I have more time I will study the argumentation a little more closely....but as Mowog has said....lets reopen the thread.

I didn't lock it, but would have... all those stupid posts at the end, rather than having to clean it up, it'd be nice if people would just obey the f*cking rules

Oh no, again!

Guy's could we again please have the thread cleaned up of posting from those who clearly have no interest and / or fear the outcome of the tests to the crank? We all stand to learn a lot from this.

Who knows, the cranks might be nitrided to depths claimed.

Those who are not interested, don't read it. It is quite obvious that you guys are only out to have it locked. Oh the other obvious thing is that you all look silly. While you guys are not interested, there are a LOT more of us who are interested in learning.

This thread still has a long way to run, past the cranks and on to valve springs, T/V and Dampers.
