Hello All.
What would have been the most popular colour for leyland minis.
Mine is PLUM LOCCO probably the least popular.
Thanks.

Scarlet o'Hara was a common colour, much the same shade as Jet Red (see my avatar <<). Both use Ford Red Flame as touch up colour.

What's the complete colour list for all Clubman's/Leyland mini's :?:
Then start a poll maybe, what colour was your square nose originally.

I've had two clubmans: they were the worst two colours: pink and brown.

My mum had one, sure it said musk on the paint decal. Be damned if it wasn't the most awesome orange colour though.

Maybe "home on th'orange" or cadiz? they are the only two oranges i know of (not that i know much :) )

Oh the plum locco was an actual colour, i have seen minis for sale in that colour and thought they had been resprayed. WOW!! they were crazy in the 70's  cool colour though.

Popular colours: "gambia turquois" seems fairly common among the GT's with the rarer colour being "bold as brass"

In general i reckon i would agree with devil yellow and scarlet ohara being most popular.

Rarer colours: Were any leyland minis painted "Peel me a grape", I've never seen a leyland mini in purple? Bold as brass was fairly uncommmon as well i reckon
