Maybe the T-Rex caught some rust and is now sitting in a skip bin. While the work experience kid took the mini home and after months of straightening, welding and replacing panels and parts the mini is now being driven around being admired by children and hot women.

I think you all miss the point. I think it's fantastic that the mini is recognised as iconic in this day and age as the tyrannosaurus rex was in its. Anyway the sample chosen was a rusty stripped out shell probably past its use by date. There's probably more minis getting scrapped in the UK than change hands here in Aus on a yearly basis!

At least they chose a better subject than those clowns @ Top Gear Au.
