Ahoy there chaps and chapettes, I've gone and discovered myself a little mini "paddock" find in a central Vic town, I'll post photos & details of it once I'm on my computer but there are 3 mini shells, a moke shell and various engines!
But firstly I need to know how hard/costly it is to replace a mini k floor before I start throwing my money on the table.
Back soon with updates

Most Mini parts places here now carry replacement `hydro style' floors ( LH & RH) to suit Oz Minis `67 -`78.

you asked for it, so here they are

The line up, now im not a different mini model encyclopedia, i can basically tell the difference between a moke, clubbie and a roundnose. And what was in the paddock/backyard you can see in the following

Image

Apparantly the white one is a Mini K, the brown one = no idea but its pretty much rooted, and is "scrap heap" material according to the owner, the green one?? but has hydro suspension and a moke. I got photos of the ID plates of the green, white & moke which will appear later. The brown one had no ID, but had sliding windows, does that help??

Image
Image

So the White "k" is in pretty good nick, there are some rust spots in the usual places BUT alot less than i thought there would be for a car thats been sitting there for so long
Image
EXCEPT for the floor which is capital F'd. What i could see of the sills are really quite good. The car floor is on the ground which i think why it hasnt faired well. Elsewhere i give the body a 7/10

Image
Engine bay

Image
ID plate 970 Yor V G251 10072

Image
Interior is in pretty good nick too, apart from the window and spiders

Now the green one
Image

Pretty banged up front
Image
Image
interior is pretty meh

Both doors are OK
Image

Image
Engine is a spiderery death trap

Image
ID plate YMA2S4 car 1386 eng 9AN/A/H 254 colour 1/JAY BLUE/3

The Green one does have a good floor though, which i was thinking could be a good donor for the white one
Now the bonnet badge, is this the rare one??
Image

The Brown one was in a sorry sorry state, nothing worth looking at other that the doors with their sliding windows
Image

The Moke was also pretty rusted out in the floor but ill post pics of it anyways

ID Plate

He also has 3 engines in a shipping container/shed
Image
That one is the engine out of the moke

Image
Image
Image
2nd engine - weird metal fan on that one, no head number though

Image
Image
3rd - pretty standard looking, again no head number

Image
plus a subframe

So theres what i found and checked out. Now ill leave you to guess how much he wants for it all but do you think its worth me taking the white and green shells (poor brown is too far gone). I also told the guy that what i dont want, i might be able to find people who do. So if anyone wants anything, let me know and we can work something out

Fun times

YMA2S4 = MiniMatic. Looks like a 68.

you can have the seats, but at this stage im not passing on the owners details until ive got what i want sorted.
He said he will hang onto it all for me until i let him know what i want to do, but you can def consider the seats yours, but no details...yet :)

The minimatic shell looks the best to me, get the door off the K and replace the front guard and it's a solid car. The rust in the gutter of the K looks a bit scary.

The really rusty one is probably an 850

The spare engines look like 850s? Photos of the engine numbers and back of the gearboxes would help.

cheers

Jacob

If you can identify each engine keep me posted on what you don't want.

Well the top one is out of the moke, so being a 1971 moke, if the motor was the original motor it would be an 1100.

The low back moke seats are very sought after as people use them as backseats too! Not often you still see them in a car!
